Radical power.
These aren’t my pics, not sure where they came from, but it seems they have a fettish for Aviation.
I real work of art.
Somenice custom work. Thanks.
A car made out of an aircraft.
It made me think... with that much torque and a redline in the proximity
of 2700RPM... one would not need a gearbox.
So what if they used an IRS and rotated the diff so
the input boss was pointing straight up... bolt a torque
converter to the input boss of the diff; lay the engine flat
and bolt the crank to the input of the torque converter...
compact, simple direct, and minimal frictional losses...
Cowabunga!!!
Apart from no reverse it'd be great...
I know there's 2 speed diffs... so maybe there are diffs with an integrated reverse?

Re: Reverse drive. Finding a strong headwind?
Looks like it requires a never ending runway.
Interesting! I had to learn more… Besides the a/c engine, the aviation theme continues with the dual controls aircraft yokes and all the other details. I found the guys that built this are in Colorado. Here is a link to the project…
https://coloradoautoandparts.com/p-r-t/ The vehicle was featured on the Jay Leno car show, as well.
