While working on the up-armor project, for our Duck run I noted this little guy in the tree above my head-singing loudly. I thought this little guy cannot be singing this loudly, so small a bird. I then remembered to use the Sound ID feature in Merlin. Came up Wilson's Warbler. Dropped the pick-mattock and grabbed the Z9. Near dark and this little guy, like most of the small birds around here rarely come out into the outer-most layer of branches. He stopped just briefly, checked things out and flew back into the thick branches. Z9, 500pF, 1/500, f 5.6, ISOs from 3200 to 3600.

Taken before I injured my shoulders.

Download and enjoy!
