I like the photograph a lot. That would have been me in upstate NY a number of years ago. Seems they should go in now as they look badly sunburned.

They were standing there for about an hour before I got the shot. I liked the background forest as a good prop for the main subject.

I don’t think there has been a sunburn discovery that didn’t include words like, “gee, maybe I should’ve brought some lotion….” But…any group of more than one is never going to worry about it. Just jump in the water and worry about it later. Great days in the water and enjoying the companionship of friends.

Yes, of course, just exactly as I did many years ago when I would go home from my own beach sunburned so that my mother could rub a good quantity of Noxema cream on the red parts. My comment was not a criticism but only noticing these kids are getting sunburned as shown by the redness even in the reflection on the water.
