Probably not since they wouldn't be internal combustion. Gotta wonder, too, what kind of range they'd have and how the additional weight of the batteries would affect air speed.

But I think they still can be called Jets because Porsche has their Taycan Turbo S which is an electric are and certainly has no turbo.
I think it would be called "Full By Pass Fan Jet"

Still the possibility of contrails, although the frequency would be significantly reduced. Contrails are just condensed water droplets in the atmosphere. Conventional jets provide some of the water from the combustion of fuel, but the atmosphere always has some water, and if an 'electrojet' runs through a region where supercooled moisture exists in the atmosphere, it could cause it to condense into a contrail.
