Greetings.
I have this ready now and decided not to hold off. Hope this is not getting monotonous to you.
1955 Photos are from my first trip to Italy and the three 1977 are from another return trip to the country. Changes over the 20 years are not too obvious. One difference is that "David" in Piazza is a copy and the original was placed inside the museum.
Other cities in Italy ( and Sicily) are available and will be in the "pipeline".
Hope you enjoy this visit.
Larry

It would be great to see how much they have changed in the past 45 years.
Thanks. I appreciate your looking and responding.

It's now been a few years since I traveled through Europe and it does change. I rather think that that changing has been speeded up by physical and political events. Always hope for the best!

I was joking, of course, because many of those structures have been there for hundreds of years, with little change.

True; lot's of places hold and protect historic sites, but people and attitudes do change, not always for the better.

Hi,
Mark & Jederick,
Thanks for looking and commenting. I do appreciate it.

Very nice back then and now.
Thanks, good to here. I assume you have been to Europe recently. We haven't been there for fairly long while and, unfortunately, age and physical conditions leave us both unable to do much travel now.
