No birds, just an overview of the part of the Dam that I frequent.

There are always lots of fishermen/women. Some wade but most are on the rocks or the cement pier. Recently there have been some small boats as well. Most seem to catch what they want.

Great shots of the dam! The eagles will return in October for a rest-over during their flight south. I haven't been there for that event for about four years but plan to shoot there this year. It's wonderful to see a hundred or so eagles diving into the river. I think photograprers with super zoom lenses outnumber the birds!

I typically get there several times in November and December and yes, the photographers are shoulder to shoulder. One photographer had rigged up 3 D850s to his tripod, so he could have 3 lenses. He probably has 3 Z9s now.

It’s interesting to actually see it rather than just hear about it.

Fun. Been there a few times, but never when there were more than just a few eagles. Will keep trying. Just a nice place to visit. Thanks for sharing.

It's owned by PECO Electric and they've been renovating the dam for years - I don't know if they'll ever finish. But the work doesn't interfere will photographers of fisher-people.
Thanks, John.
