I've posted many shots of Katlyn before. This is but another view of her in an under the bridge park. I might shoot her again this summer if I get the opportunity.

I like the textured stone backdrop with the repeated patterning of it. Nice model, pretty and natural looking. The pose is interesting, maybe something different with her legs? The stick bugs me, but maybe it means something so you included it.

It means nothing. It was just there. I considered removing it, but I guess it got the better of me.

I don't often ask my wife to look at the images here (she thinks I waste FAR too much time on UHH) but this one caught my interest regarding a section of landscaping I am thinking about doing with pea gravel. The area is on a bit of a slope, and I thought cement blocks might be a great way of keeping them in place!!! My wife did not notice the blocks and gravel at first!

BTW, nice shot... and the stick is a bit of an interest provoker.

..and I guess, she refused to lay naked on your garden holding the pea gravel in place?

You guessed correctly. Now, I have a few friends/neighbours who would look good on my pea gravel if... nah, that's clearly a non-starter!!!

Hasn't anyone thought of how uncomfortable it had to be to lay on those pebbles?? What's next? NAILS??

I did ask her how she felt about lying there, she said no problem. That’s what I like about some models - they are really up for anything, save being injured or maimed. But I probably wouldn’t suggest to her that losing a leg would make a great photo. Ya, probably not.

With enough nails you have a relatively solid metal surface! I suspect there are no really sharp pressure points of pain.

Did you never run around barefoot as a kid? I can't do it any more because the soles of my feet are too tender for my body weight. Lying down she has a large surface area and many support points to reduce the pressure at any one point.

Some great items to bring to a shoot especially if the model is lying on rough terrain or kneeling or standing on pebbly ground are various sizes of large, medium and small hand towels which can be folded (to the appropriate size) and placed underneath the model or to stand on. Flip-flops and narrow strip slippers can also be used! In the latter examples, it's pretty easy to clone out the pads or slippers out.

Be well! Ed

very interesting angle, I bet you shot a few, was there one which included her feet? I would love to see if that was better or not.
