I visited a local shop in dt Apex, NC today that converts 8/16mm movie film to dvd/usb devices. I have several tins of film shot when my children were all very young. It will be a treat for them to see rhemselves again when they were at this stge of life.

While there, wife noticed all these old cameras and such on shelves on a far wall. Too dark for me to see clearly, but I shot a couple takes and this is the best I could get. There must have been 50 or more of these old units, none of which were still in working order, according to the person at the shop. Interesting, if only I could have seen them clearly. Sort of a mini museum.

The shop owner did apparently not suffer from an excessive sense of order!
Poul.

Me also. Still have my Pentax Spotmatic with nifty50mm F1.4. Acquired in RVN in 67-68. Will pass it on to my son.

Looking at the Konica on the shelf reminded me of my first SLR which was a Konica A3 - thanks for bringing back a great memory Dean.

Clean desk or whatever is the product of a frightened mind. Needless to say, I am totally unafraid here.

A person could spend some time rooting through those cameras! A camera, no matter what make or age, is a thing of beauty.
