Very nice image nicely set off by the background. Not an expert but while it's possible for a bonsai to live over a thousand years, most are under 100 and they average less than 20. One thing obvious, someone at that library knows what they are doing.

Thanks for the compliment and the additional info. A bonsai at my house may make it only to one. I have to say that I like your point about someone knowing what they’re doing - and we get to photograph their work
