Can someone tell me why I have a small black dot when I look through the viewfinder in my Sony 10X IV. It does not appear in the image or if I look at the screen. Thanks in advance.

Perhaps the EVF has dead pixels?

I thought of that as a humorous response. A floater would show up in lots of places.

I thank everyone for their responses. After some research, I agree that one of the EVF pixels has expired. I have held a small funeral and will continue.
