On a PC, can you run Edge and Chrome at the same time? Any conflicts? Same question for an iPad with Safari and Chrome.

I have used IE, then Firefox, then Chrome and now every version of windows comes with Edge (which is based on Chrome) and for years now all my machines have both Edge and Chrome on them. Once in a Blue Moon I will try Edge but I still stick with Chrome. Why? I am used to it. Maybe if I gave it a chance I would like Edge just as much.
I think the OP meant concurrently.

Yep. I just learned here that Edge is based on Chrome so I might not bother to run both.

I often run Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Brave all at the same time on a PC and do so without any issues being experienced.
Yes. You can run several browsers concurrently depending on how much RAM you have. Chrome is a known memory hog and can crash with too many tabs open. Hope this helps OP.

Thank you. That’s good to know.

Firefox, Chrome Edge, opera can run concurrently on multiple windows. The only possible issue is if you try to watch two video at the same time and a possible slowdown on bandwidth if you download from them, at the same time.

IE plus Firefox. Then IE plus Firefox plus Chrome. Then Chrome plus IE and Edge for several years. Now it will be Chrome and Edge together since they are ending IE. None of those combos ever had conflicts.
I have used Firefox, Vivaldi and Opera at the same time, but usually only if some web site is written only to use Chrome. Opera and Vivaldi are both Cromium based, but less likely to steal/ sell you personal information. I've never used Edge, I'm stuck on FF.
My work computer can run IE, Edge and Chrome all at the same time until last week when the IT dept killed IE. When ever I started IE it started Edge.
On windows 11, firefox has been locking up on me lately.
Why be tracked by only one browser...

I have run those two for many years, beginning with the release of Edge.
