I found a age appropriate Horse Camp for Emorie. All campers were within 4 months of the age of Emorie so that was nice, considiering the temps have been close 100 degrees, all involved were well behaved. All outdoor activities were done early morning so no issues for the horses in the heat. The group did crafts in the barns after riding, craft room had A.C. They also painted a horse, got to brush and wash horses...all invovled had a blast, even the horse that was being washed, he loved it so much he fell asleep....lol

Great photos and what a fun time!!! Yep, you can tell the horse was a good sport. More 100+ weather for us next week. I imagine July and August will be even worse.

Love seeing photos of Emorie, Tom. So is she envisioning a career in the Cowgirl profession now? When my daughter was about that age we did something similar. She was over the moon!

Very true! Raleigh is 70 miles away and usually 3-5 degrees cooler. A friend in the mountains is usually 5-10 degrees cooler. Fayetteville is over 200 feet lower in elevation. If there is an armpit in this state....it's Fayetteville.
