What gets left out.

The more I study successful images by many photograpers, the more I realize that what is left out, unavailable to the viewer, is more important than what is included and therefor more effortlessly available to the viewer.

The art of storytelling - what to tell/show the listener/viewer and what to omit, leaving them to work out themselves or leaving them to wonder about.

(But not all photos are about storytelling).

For my own stuff I have no interest in story telling. I may be peculiar in lack of interest in story telling. I ignore song lyrics and just listen the music, including the vocals (preferring languages I dont speak). I watch movies as kinetic art, with no interest in the plot.
