Young birds wherever you look these days. My favorite time of the year.

1) Sandhill crane mother with her tiny 2 day old colt. There were two eggs but only one has hatched.
Not getting too close when the baby is so young. Don't want to upset Mom.

2)A little older colt from a previous year to show the detail.

3) Unusual sight of eight Wood Duck ducklings

4/5) Canada goose goslings trying to take off without having wings yet, more like running on water. Fun to watch.

6) Barn Swallow (adult)
Young birds wherever you look these days. My favor... (show quote)

Love 'em, but the baby shots blew me away

Outstanding set! Luv the colors and settings. Our property is filled with babies-and those that eat the young. Thanx for sharing!
