Sorry to hear of your troubles to all you folks on the east coast especially New York our hearts go out to you and yours. We dont get that much weather out here on the west coast of Canada. Keep a stiff upper lip and carry on as you always do.
Out here in Nanaimo we have a long spooky road where people bring their jack o lanterns and light them up the line both sides of the street for the kids to see. very scarry. Now, I want to take a photo of this. Its very dark and the pumpkins go for about 1 mile down the street. What do you think my fstop should be and my shutter speed?
Thnks in advance

I think you going to need a tripod and then play with the settings. Your shutter speed is going to be very slow if you want the whole line in focus. I am guessing F12 / 18 to get the whole line in focus. Which will make you really drop the shutter speed.

I use Google for everything. Google "photographing Jack-o-lanterns" and I bet you will get lots of good suggestions.

Jingle Pot Road comes to mind from that description.
Never been there on Halloween night - I'm always home to hand out candy....
Yes, please, post (one/some of) your pictures taken there!
