Old f mount lenses on z9

Recently got my Z9 and finally got out to do some testing. I am very encouraged to find that the old sigma 150-500 5-6.3 apo dg os works very well on the z9. The nikon 28-300 is also sharper than on my other cameras. I could not find compatibility info on the sigma and had become discontent with the sharpness of the nikon 28-300. So I may delay for quite a while before investing in new glass.

I'm confused by the seemingly contradictory statements regarding the 28~300. You say it's sharper in one sentence and then you've become discontent in another.

It was not living up to expectations in my other nikon cameras but is better on the z9.

Gives one hope-my 28-300 iso only for videos on my D7200 and only occasionally!

I've used my Nikon 28~300 on my D700, D800e, and D850 with superb results.

Excellent results, Daledo! Was it a F-mount Sigma? Thank you!
