"‘Live PD’ To Be Revived on Reelz This Summer as ‘On Patrol: Live,’" Hosted by Dan Abrams according to Michael Schneider at Variety.com https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/live-pd-return-reelz-dan-abrams-1235288210/

It was a shameful assault on freedom of speech that removed it from the lineup of news shows.

Did the government remove the show? That would be an assault on freedom of speech. If it was a TV network, they aren't bound by the first amendment and are free to determine their own lineup of shows.

I think it was pressure put on the advertisers and producers by various minority groups who felt they were singled out as criminals.

My Mexican, Indian, Black, East Asian neighbors and friends are all law abiding and contribute positively to the American culture and standard of living.

I'm getting a show called Body Cam that's on the ID Channel. Just watched one last night that involved a police shootout with a mentally ill individual who opened fire on them which resulted in several officers shot and one killed. The subject was finally killed by SWAT.

Folks tend to think of those who suffer from PTSD affecting our heroes who are subject to the horrors of war. Law enforcement, firefighters, and EMTs are sufferers too. The difference is that they often do their job for many years rather than a tour of duty. The "Body Camera" programs should make us realize how indebted we are to these men and women who also risk their lives for ours.
