Beginner drone pilot here. What is the simplest and least expensive program for editing drone video images and capturing stills thereof? Thanx.

The least expensive and easiest to use is the one that came with your operating system. The most complex and still free video editing program is Davinci Resolve. The best stills are taken in the photo mode on the drone. If you want to capture frames out of a video clip, the free video player called "VLC" does that well. If you already have Lightroom Classic it will capture frames too.
