I watched a YouTube video about the largest model train setup in some state. There was a large sign that said something like "No 360° Cameras". Do you have any idea why they would ban them? The sign didn't mention drones.

Maybe 360° would melt some, if not all, of the setup.

Every time I do a 360 degree image, my face gets in the way.

No. This "360" refers to a camera, not a laser.

Yeah, I could never understand the idea of a 360° camera. That isn't actually possible, unless they mean the "Little Planet" or "Small World" type of picture, but that can be done with any camera.

If I can find that site again and find contact info, I'll ask them about that restriction.

Jerry, you might ask ronichas, a UHH member. She's posted some 360° camera photos.

Personally, I've never seen the use for one, or the technique to make a pseudo 360° photo.

Well, I got as non-answer. Why can't people use a 360° camera? Because we said so.

Curtis, just to let you know, that's the family decision. Any other questions, be free to ask.
