In soft light and drizzle. Note the water droplet that I did not remove. I could have cropped tighter, but I like the "birdscape" perspective and the yellow lichen and newly emerging leaves. Constructive comments always appreciated. Got some help from GHG Canon (Paul) on a color space issue on this image. If you don't know it, there are some real knowledgable people on the "hog" that can help a bunch if you have questions. Thanks again Paul.
Sony A1, 600mm f/4 with 2x converter (1200mm), 1/1000, f/8.0 (wide open), iso 4000.

Looks like a Brown-headed Cowbird-male. Nice shot BTW.
I do not mean to hijack your post but it seemed apropos to ask for help with what I believe to be a Female Brown-headed Cowbird. Shot at Point-No-Point, WA. Bright sun-not a great shot but good enough for ID purposes, I hope!

A noteworthy composition 🔥✨🔥✨🔥
No need for cropping -- as shown it has very nice composition. And for anyone who thinks that way, it meets the rules of 1/3s.

Appreciate the look. I guess I just like to give my birds a bit of room to move in the frame. I think this type of perspective gives the view a better perspective of the birds environment which in some cases is the message. By coincidence, the 1/3rd rule seems to provide that nicely. Portraits can be a bit different.
