Great photo of a beautiful bird. Just curious if these birds run in the lawn looking for worms like American Robins...We have robins all over our yard. In April, a nest appeared on our bedroom windowsill. In May, another on my son's windowsill. Gives us a front-row seat to the whole "nesting-raising baby robin" process.

Thank you very much for looking in ELNikkor and they do scrat about looking for worms and in some cases they will come to you and take food from your hands.They are very cocky as well and will take on bigger birds.Glad you liked them.

Thanks, angler. The challenge was to shoot through both a window and a screen. For some reason, the screen mesh seems to disappear where the birds are, but I'm not complaining...(Nikon D750, Nikon 35-80D close-focus lens.

Really nice, Jim. Your European Robin is a true robin. Ours is not. I believe ours belongs to the thrush family.
