This is Autumn again, this time on the much beloved zebra rug. I loved this rug because of the contrast it brought to a shot and the interesting graphics. You'll see it featured in my work if you'd care to, just go back to Nudes No. 063 and 096. This rug was with me in my studio from the beginning, it might have been the first thing I bought. Many nude girls had their image and likeness immortalized on this very carpet, many clothed ones, too. I'd set up a step-ladder and clumber up to the top and from there I could get an image like the one you see here. What fun.

(Yes, I know her eyes are blown out. Live with it, I do. (I was young and maybe just a little high!)

Nah, I would say you were at about the right height for a great shot!

Like the angle and smooth lighting on this one. I too have a rug like that but it's only been topped my myself/wife sipping wine by the fire. You've got me thinking now . . .

I like it rotated 90º counter-clockwise. And oh my, it is so easy to fix the eyes.

Ya FA, I know it’s not too difficult to fix the eyes. You do have to factor into the equation that it is summer in WI. I’m working on my tan and riding my motorcycle, not much time for computer work. Maybe I’ll get to it in October??

The best, for my taste, of the images we have seen for awhile!
