Back in 2007, we stopped at Ft. Smith, Arkansas. I was chasing down a trolley museum noted as being there. It turned out to be more of discoveries than anticipated. And the time I spent talking to the sole person who was the motorman of the trolley. I had to drop from my itinerary our #2 reason for stopping there, because of time constraints.
The first shot is of the trolley as it crossed the military cemetery. (Harking to the just past Memorial Day.) (It was a long shot.)
The second was of the main major project they were working on. (The hotel that became the convention center for the town. It was built by a madame and her people.)

That last parenthetical statement flipped from the first paragraph to the last paragraph My apologies. At the time I was there, I got the information about the madame's hotel from the motorman I spoke with. In my google search, I ended up on a ride. For an idea about the hotel, google "Miss Laura's Visitor Center" with Ft. Smith, Ark. Photos popped up with the building showing. I have not been able to get back there since I shot the trollies.
