The original Lincoln statue image was taken along the riverfront in downtown Louisville, Ky. As you can see from the original image the statue is not colorized. I did a base colorization of the image in Photoshop >Neural Filters>Colorize. This got me part way there. The rest of the color was added by color sampling, dodging and burning. I ran the image through Topaz Studio and FotoSketcher.

Thank You. I think the problem with having painted statues is that overtime, the paint fades, cracks and peels off.

Beautifully done. thye long brushstrokes works really well for this. What software did you use?

That statue has probably been recorded countless times. You gave it a different look.
