Starlings are not my favorite birds, but I had to take these shots of a young one asking (make that demanding) to be fed. I must say these little ones are very noisy and don’t take no for an answer. In case you’re wondering they’re going after the suet which is pushed into 2 inch holes drilled into a small log. Many birds enjoy eating the suet in this way and, if the angle is right, you can get a pretty good image. I’m still trying to get one. The last photo is of two Grey Catbirds on the same log. The difference is they are quieter and have better manners. Hope you enjoy the photos.
