Same effect browsing my take using the rear monitor on a Z7. I shoot raw plus fine jpg, about 75MB per 45MP frame.
Seems that the camera cannot instantly process all that, and so I can watch the image sharpening up after first opens. The camera has a very fast Express-B card. I doubt the card causes any delay.
