Memorial Day

As we commemorate Memorial Day we remember those who without regard to self put themselves in harms way to defend the Republic.
From the battlefields of Brandywine, Tripoli, Gettysburg, Havana, The Ardenne, Normandy, Chosin Reservoir, Khe Sanh, Mogadishu, Kabul,
The Ramadan Offensive and every battle and war in-between. We give you our thanks and respect and even though we do not know all your names
we will memoralize you always. As I posted the other day this is not a "Happy" day and I haven't come up with a suitable replacement
word, it is a day of thanks for those who have given their all and the families they left behind.
The below are from The Philadelphia National Cemetery.

Today is a sad day, and in our town we are having a problem as it's got to the point of having enough of us for an honor guard. We will have our service in town and at the two cemeteries but with less of us than ever. On the good side of it we are not having to deal with a war to get more veterans.

Haines and Limekiln in West Oak Lane. You would be closer to Washington Crossing National Cemetery off 532.
