This one is in the center of Portland, Maine, in the city center known as Monument Square. Lady Liberty and representatives of the service branches are around the base. These, I believe are Civil war.
You're welcome Pat. Thanks for the reminder of Memorial Day. I tend to be confused between Memorial and Veterans' Day. Had to go look it up. We just have Armistice Day - 11.11.18, end of WWI

So often the honoured ones are too high up to see, but here I really like the bronzes(?) on the plinth. That one with the gun grabs me - so well modelled, but too often the sculptor is virtually ignored.
