Thanks Hereford. That was my thought as well. The antler nubs were pretty big to me. I would love to see those same deer in November to see how those antlers fared. I also wondered if any would be eaten by a grizzly. In the very same parking lot leading to these deer I met a husband and wife couple while I walked back to my truck. They asked if I saw the grizzly. I asked what grizzly and they said they had seen a sow and a cub a couple of minutes earlier about 50 yards from where we were talking. When I started walking toward where they saw the bear the husband asked, aren’t you scared? I told him I wanted pictures and I had a gun. He said, we’re coming with you then. Sadly we saw no bears. They are there though. Neat area.
