Hope someone can help. My NIK collection download that I have had for years has suddenly stopped working correctly. In Photoshop CC when I click on Color Efex Pro the entire program (Photoshop) shuts down. Any idea what is wrong and how to correct? TIA

Did you check if there were any updates to PhotoShop that could cause the issue with NIK?
If so, you may have to reinstall NIK.

You didn't mention Mac Or PC. I'm using the latest PS CC on windows 10 and use the old free version of NIK.
I tried all flavors of the NIK plug-in with PS with no problems.
Usually when strange things happen, I shut down the computer, Unplug the power cord then press the power on button. If there's any residual charge on capacitors this will short every thing to chassis ground. re-plug the computer and turn on. Most times works for me.
Good luck

You don't mention the platform or operating system in use, but I can tell you that the old free NIK collection died on M1 Macs.
The new, paid version works, however.
I am having the same problem. The only NIK that works for me is Viveza. And I purchased the newer version of NIK because they told me they could provide no help for the older version. I have reached out to them several times but am never able to speak with anyone. They simply send 'canned' replies which do not resolve the problem. If anyone has a solution, I would be very grateful.
Have you tried exporting the image as a Tiff file and using the NIK app in standalone. I gave up on Adobe in 2019. I now use DXO and Affinity Photo.
