The last couple of days Jeffery's EXIF viewer has been unavailable. I don't know if he didn't get enough financial support to continue or if it's just temporary. Does anyone know of an online viewer similar to his, or if I need to download one is there a recommended viewer?

It's been more like a couple of weeks.

I guess I haven't used it recently until a couple of days ago. But now I know it's not just me.

Jimmy, if you use Chrome browser, there's a handy extension available. Not as detailed as Jeffrey's (I miss that site too!). I'm now hunting for a similar browser extension for Safari where you don't have to download the image first.

I used an extension for Firefox that quit working long ago and switched to Brave browser. I used Jeffries for a good while but when it broke, I discovered the free EXIF Viewer Pro extension. This is great and works simply by right clicking on an image and all the exif data pops up. Not sure where I got it, or if it works on other browsers but DAGS for it and with luck, you will find what you need.

Most of the information on MY photos I may be interested in viewing is available via Windows Explorer.
I only use Jeffrey's viewer for images that are on-line so I don't have to download the image.

If using windows Explorer, select "Details" and the for the column headers, the data is selectable. There are a TON of fields available for display by right-clicking on the header, (select and deselect), and the order can be modified by dragging the header to a new position. Going to the file manager, the information display header settings can be set for all lower level directories also, so one doesn't have to set up EACH directory, only the highest (top level) directory.

The OP did not say Windows, Mac or Linux. Mac Preview has very good EXIF details. Many PP applications do, too.

To follow up, here is an example from the (free) Sony "Edit" application. Other manufacturers probably do similar things.

There are several for each browser out there. Just use DuckDuckGo and search for them.
