Anyone knows a good place to fix a Canon 5d iii that lost its joystick cover?

It seemed to me that replacing the rubber joystick cover for the Canon 5d iii would be simple and inexpensive, but its nearly $500 at the Canon repair facility. Repairs start at $350 at KEH. Camera & Camcorder Repairs is quoting $188, but their reviews are awful. Does anyone know of an inexpensive repair facility, or is a $500 repair charge just something I have to eat?

I’ve had repairs done by this place. Good quality, timely, and not too expensive. But ask them first (obviously) as there are some brands for which they can’t get the parts. Hope this helps: https://northwestcamera.com/digital-camera-repair/

Used, recommended. A UHH member. Owner, Rick Riggins, is the guy answering the phone you call. Highly recommended.

Hi. My name is Rick. I’m the owner and lead technician at Discount Camera Repair and a member in good standing here at the UHH. I’ve been doing repairs for other members here at greatly discounted rates and would be glad to help.

I'd be more than happy to repair the camera for you and keep the cost as low as possible. This one runs about $100. If you’re interested, please respond by private message.

You might be able to find the part on Amazon, eBay, etc. and repair it yourself.
