My friend Chris and I met in the Jazz Stage Band in high school over 50 years ago. He played drums and I played bass guitar. We formed our own group playing cover tunes along with our own original compositions. He and I have remained friends over the past 50 years and even though each of us moved to different parts of the country, we continued to find ways to collaborate musically. Eventually we both relocated and now live within a little over an hour’s drive from each other. These two shots were taken in my home recording studio in Northeast Tennessee last month. Pretty cool to still be making music together after all of these years!
