Hurricane a windfall for auto industry?

Looks like a lot of vehicles were destroyed by Sandy. That should provide a great sales benefit for dealers and manufacturers. But, the rest of us have to be cautious buying a used car.

I told my wife today we can expect our auto insurance to go up because the insurance company will recover there losses from this one.

Actually a very good tip, thanks Trevor. I was just looking at Generac, a company that provides medium to heavy duty standyby power generation. I thought of them because 1) they are a US based company and 2) they only recently went public. I found this article on the web. Looks like they are due for a nice little bump when the markets open today.
