There is an old saying. If the king is good, the people are happy.

I could make an argument that a dictator or king who has the people best interests in mind is the best system.

It is evident in business. A person who has a business and has a vision and has employees that follow his vision will produce something amazing. If he has the interests of the product and the employess in mind. We have seen this work many times.

If the king loves the people, is merciful and full of compassion and is just and rules with justice. This is a good system. The problem is that the successor is the kings spoild brat kid who is evil.

Just about any government system works on paper. The problem is real life has corrupt people in it. The measure of a good government is how it handles corrupt people in government. I use to think the US government was the best at this but now we see wokeness and corruption at the top levels forcing their will over the people and spreading their evil. I don't think it is that great. But is still better than all the alternatives. But if all government is corrupt what use is it?

Why are they not allowed to drink, smoke, why can you not have sex with them on and on. The are not considered adults, that is why their parents can discipline them. (though that does not happen much today) They don't have the faculties to make informed decisions.
