As with my first post, the light was low as the sun rose and I had to shoot many shots into the sun. My 200-600 lens would only allow an f/9 aperture because of the 1.4 tc. Therefore, many of the shots had to have the exposure raised in post-processing.

I selected this second set to cover the bird types that I missed in the first post.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Fantastic set Mike

Nice set, Mike. The one-legged pose of the whistling duck is my favorite.

I am regretting not making the trip to Pinckney Island in mid-April.

All very good but the one-legged duck gets my vote.

Nice shooting. Does that guy really only have one leg, or is it just tucked up under him?

I am happy that you liked that shot, Ronnie. It was into the glare and I was afraid that the color would not come out. Mid-April would be a good time at Ibis Pond with the mating, but a bit later lets you see the babies.

Thanks, Dan, because I was shooting directly into the glare I was very pleased that the colors came out.
