Sony RX-100 Owners, What Protective Case do you recommend?

I'm still looking for a good protective case for my new/used RX100-VA and have actually sent back a couple that I thought might work, but was not happy with after receiving them. What I want is a close fitting, protective case that is at least semi-waterproof and has a small pocket or pouch for at least 1 spare battery, maybe 2. The cases I've tried that had any room for spare batteries were so big I could nearly put another entire camera in them. It just doesn't make sense to me to buy a compact camera, then put it in a case that's nearly twice the size! Anyway, I would appreciate any viable suggestions and thank you for your input in advance.

This one fits my RX 100 vi like a glove. I don't think you'll find a better one...

I use this model Sony hard shell case. LCJRXK
There are a couple of variations of the design and if you have the RX100 Mark 7 you will want to make sure you get the version that has the hole through which you can get to the microphone jack without removing the case.
This case offers excellent protection and makes the camera easier to hold. It doesn’t have room for an extra battery or SD card but that’s what my trouser pockets are for.

At least for me, any case I'm going to use is going to need to have a way to also carry at least one spare battery safely (not thrilled with carrying batteries in my pockets). Looks like the Amazon Basics, medium point and shoot case is the only real option, but I can't say that I'm thrilled with it. I would really like a more form fitting, hardshell type case, like the other one mentioned above, but they just don't provide for carrying a spare battery. Frankly, these are great little cameras, but they do eat up a battery in a big hurry and leaving the house without a spare is not a good idea!
