My wife suggested that I look for the Blood Moon from our 20th floor home. I said..nah..will not be able to see it.
I was wrong. So, after watching sports for the night...I looked out to the south and there it was!
Z6/24-200/ISO12800 (max setting)/2 @ 1/60 f/6.3: Last one @ 1/15 f/6.3.
Three shots: 1st two 5 minutes apart/last one 10 minutes later (15 minutes overall). Notice the Earth's movement across the Sun's path over 15 minutes.
All hand held and not expecting much..but the IBIS proved itself!

Very nice! Glad you listened to her! π
Beautiful. The name is appropriate.
Great captures especially handheld. It's a lot easier with a tripod and the camera's builtin intervelometer!
Wise woman πππgreat shots
Big Congrats. Shooting anywhere in/near NYC is usually a major problem with ambient light/light pollution. You did great! So, next time, don't "assume" and be prepared to take photos. You can be surprised - again and again. (I lived in NY metro for 14 years!)
