This past winter, my wife and I bought canoes. We are planning on doing some canoe camping; but for now we are just glad to be able to get on the water on small lakes here close to home. I really like the perspective you get from being right on the water.

These are absolutely lovely. They exude serenity. I can hear birds chirping and feel a very gently breeze.

So glad you liked them. It was a bit difficult to get such still water. The canoe was making waves, so you would have to sit still with your camera to your eye and wait for the reflections to optimize. All in all, though, a fun way to shoot, and new to me!
