The first Honey Bees I've seen in well over a month. A whole ecosystem exists 20 feet above the ground for a few days to a week or so depending on the number of flowers. During the day flowers are visited by various insects and other small critters as well as White-winged Doves. At night nectar loving bats visit the flowers and probably scoop up some night flying insects while they are there.

Shot with a Nikkor 70-300 kit lens on crop frame camera. Once the blossom season really starts it will be time to breakout the Nikkor 200-500, tripod and stool.

Nice images Jack.
We leave Green valley tomorrow, headed for Minnesota. We move into our new home early June. So I probably won't really active here for a bit. I'll miss Madera Canyon and the Desert Museum etc.
