Lens Hoods for Nikon Z lenses?

Why the dearth of lens hoods for Nikon Z lenses like the 28mm f2.8, 40mm f2, 50mm MC? They either come with no hood or something silly, like the 50mm MC “hood” that’s about 1/8” deep. ??
Nothing on the Nikon site under accessories for the 28mm or the 40mm.

I don’t own those exact lenses, but every Z lens I have purchased came with a hood, including my recent 24-120.

Below is my current 40mm for Z. Cost under $200 and also comes without any hood. So I put a Nikon HR-4 hood on it.

Prime lenses. Economical, light, small, and from the reviews and MTF charts, excellent image quality. What's not to like?

The irony is that the missing hood for a prime could be perfect for its fixed FL, whereas the hood included with a more expensive zoom is wrong for 80 to 90% of the zooms FL range.

Yeah, and most of them got relegated to the basement, garage, or closet as they were just not used as intended.
