These shots of locos etc in the Tasmanian Transport Museum in Glenorchy, a northern suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.
Now I know nothing about trains/railways/locos etc. etc. so no captions are provided
My son, seen in one of the pics, is an enthusiast and it was he dragged me around. Me - I was happy trying out a Sony A7 I had recently acquired. Note: All SOOC - no PP - please ignore the obvious items which maybe should have been edited out.
Nice day was had.
Further posts to come of railway museums in other states of Australia
Cheers JohnR

Great, Best for me was the 4th? of the curved engine shed I guess they all lead onto a turntable of some sort? fascinating huge engineering, a daunting task keeping them going. Look forward to more. Andrew (NZ)

We think alike. Birds can be beautiful but there seems to be a never ending supply of such images. I admit I've taken a "few" myself but WOW!
As for railroad locomotives down under, are the steering wheels on the right side just like your cars are?
