Focus Stacked Image of a Flying Ant

This is the black flying ant that I found while sweeping the floor which I staged for a focus stacking session. I am not sure of the exact species, however, it has similar features to the black carpenter ants that I see so often here.

Thanks, UTMike. It gives me something to do that I enjoy and it challenges me to find the best objective and extension that I have in my collection to fit the need of filling the frame for the specimens vary so much in their size.

Thanks, Tim. The Queen ants only emerge for a small period of time so it was a special treat to find one and strangely enough, in the house.
