The more you use it the better you get too. Any questions give me a holler.... I just looked at their site again, and the three computer deal must have gone off. It's just now for one computer, sorry about that. Must have went off today.

Just be sure to use a copy of your work, not the original. The main stuff I use are under Adjust.... Brighten shadows, sharpen, Enhance Image, Enhance Exposure, and Enhance Color. Learning those will keep you busy for awile. There are slider under some, and check boxes under others, I only use what I need to get the results I want. When you do change something under what is listed above, the next time you use it again, it will still have the past settings. Go up to the top, where it says Presets, open it and click on default, then OK, and It will take it back to the original settings.

If it has a preview box in the section you are working on, ckeck it. It shows you what you just changed in real time.
if you save something, and after saved, you change your mind, use the back arrows across the top menu to reverse the last action.

Just play with it for awhile, and you'll get the hang of it.

I wonder if the colors shown in the first photo are in the same tone as what you saw with your eyes While the hue of the colors in a photo can be whatever the photographer chooses, these appear to be more pinkish than the oranges, golds and reds that one might expect to see in Fall. (See the second photo redo)

Make a copy of your original file...then play with the tools of whatever you are using. Exposure.. Brightness and Contrast are the ones most likely to be needed. Once you have that established, then you might play with Saturation which makes the colors richer.

Elle...look at the first picture again. The evergreens are dull green, not their real color. Using just brightness and contrast only, usually leaves the picture harsh looking, in my opinion. There are many other ways to brighten or change contrast, depending on what brand of software you are using. Try playing around with curves, and see what it does, and there are many others... You need to learn how the software you are using works.
