Here's my e-bike. It has 5 levels of pedal assist, 6 speed Shimano SIS chain system, and a really nice LCD screen that shows speed, pedal assist level, mileage, and battery level. The bike also has disc brakes for quick stopping.
I mostly use pedal assist as there are a lot of hills where I live and it really helps with those.

I noticed that the motor on your bike is located on the rear axle. When you pedal the bike, the electric motor in the bike drives the rear axle and your pedaling assists the electric motor via the gear train. They also make e-bikes with the motor in the pedal crank. When you pedal, you and the electric motor drive the bike through the gear train which is a more efficient and powerful way of moving the bike. It makes a huge difference in long or steep climbs to have the motor also driving through the gear train. With the motor power level set to max and the gear train in the lowest gear ratio, you could ride the bike right up the side of a tree if so inclined. Not really but close. I've had both style bikes and came to appreciate that difference. My first bike I bought on line after some research. The second bike I bought at a bike shop and got some excellent advice to buy this style.

I'm happy with this bike. It gets me where I want to go with no problem, including going up hills.
This bike has actually gone up $200 in price since I bought it.

It's a nice bike. Got front shocks, dual disc brakes, Shimano gearing and fenders which are a nice feature. Saves you from water spots up the back of your shirt every time you hit a wet spot. I'm curious what does it weigh? I carry mine on the back of my pickup with a 2-bike rack connected through the trailer hitch bracket. It's fairly low to the ground which makes it easier to lift into position.

Nice Ride Soul Dr.! Street riding is too dangerous for a broken-down septuagenarian, but exploring single track trails out in nature gives me great pleasure. I've been riding the mountain bike trails in east Tennessee and last year I gave my old Kona Kickapoo Deluxe to my son and bought Yamaha's incredible e-mtb. Most of the time I leave the motor turned off, but when I need it, it helps me climb faster and go farther than I ever could before.

As the weather gets nicer, there are more bikes on the roads. Going into town today, I passed two of them - riding electric bikes. Why? For the exercise? Traffic on these two-lane roads is moving at between 40 and 55 mph, at least. That doesn't sound like fun.

Climate Crisis. World pollution of cars. A few people doing too little, but they may be happy when they die trying.
I used to live on a two lane country road and was afraid to walk there. Boris
