Like most any subject type good photos can be made with lenses of any focal length. Wide angle lenses are good for emphasing foreground objects. Panoramas on the other hand made with lenses that are normal to telephoto in focal length.

One CAN use a wide angle for a panorama, if one doesn't mind the curving.

I never click on a link I don't know anything about. I'm not interested in his opinions. I know what landscape photography means and I know what photographing landscapes means, ….

😂😂😂

I guess those smart enough to know everything never have to burden themselves with learning anything new?

I am looking forward to your upcoming video on landscape photography.

Some of us simply have no interest in watching his videos,
people just starting out may want to though,
but I hold no one as gospel or up on a pedestal.

Interesting. I experience Peter as one who teaches on a higher plane, he doesn't’ teach at the 101 level, he assumes you know how to use a camera. I have gotten a lot from his tutorials. But maybe that has changed? Or as I said, some people with experience, have a hard time learning anything new from others.

I've never watched, so I have no opinion either way.
(Being not interested in watching is not an opinion. )

It has nothing to do with having or acquiring knowledge. It has to do with past experiences and unnecessary risk. I've been doing photography for over 50 years, and digital photography for 22 years, and in that time I actually learned maybe enough to know the difference between photographing landscapes, landscape photography, and landscape format, and I've even learned a thing or two about how to use my lenses. I've also been bit by the evil that may lurk inside the WWW by clicking on a benign link, and dealing with the consequences.
You will be waiting a very long time for me to post instructional video on landscape photography, so I suggest you do something more constructive with your time and put your snarky comments in a more private place.

I actually didn’t mean to be snarky I’m sorry if you experienced it that way.

If you're comment on my upcoming video wasn't snarky, then the MW people seriously need to reevaluate their definition. Have a happy and productive weekend.
