Biden is getting uncomfortable with super high gas prices, so to temporarly deflect media attention, he is bringing back C***D: Biden issued a proclamation on Thursday ordering f**gs at the White House and all federal buildings to be flown at half-staff until next Monday to mark the one million deaths.

Gas prices
1. Oil Production was cut during p******c because demand collapsed, there was so much and no place to store it. In fact the price went below zero.
2. . P******c ended, demand skyrocketed and continued. OPEC did not increase production . American production went back up to pre p******c level. Big oil is no interested in increasing production only in increasing stock holder dividends. They really don’t want to increase drilling. Top of that , even if they did, the can’t find equipment or laburnum to do so.
3. Compounding this. Ukraine war. Virtually no impacts on American supply BUTvoil is priced internationally .

So quit playing politics !

The liberal media doesn't think so.

If it ended, no half mast f**gs are required NOW.

Good question Steve:
"Relationships between gasoline and crude oil prices

U.S. retail gasoline prices reflect four key components: the price of crude oil; refining costs and profit margins; retail and distribution costs and profit margins; and taxes. The first two factors tend to be more volatile, causing most of the variation in retail gasoline prices, while the latter two reflect the retail portion and tend to be relatively stable.

A general guideline for how crude oil prices affect gasoline is that a $1-per-barrel change in the price of crude oil t***slates into a change of about 2.4 cents per gallon of gasoline. (There are 42 gallons in one barrel, and 2.4 cents is about 1/42 of $1.)"

A LOOK ACROSS THE WORLD

"Gasoline prices, Octane-95, 09-May-2022: The average price of gasoline around the world is 1.35 U.S. Dollar per litre. However, there is substantial difference in these prices among countries. As a general rule, richer countries have higher prices while poorer countries and the countries that produce and export oil have significantly lower prices. One notable exception is the U.S. which is an economically advanced country but has low gas prices. The differences in prices across countries are due to the various taxes and subsidies for gasoline. All countries have access to the same petroleum prices of international markets but then decide to impose different taxes. As a result, the retail price of gasoline is different. Use the drop menu to see the prices in gallons. "

Correction!

P******c Government Restrictions Ended, not the P******c. It was the restrictions that caused the lack of demand

Biden just cancelled a major oil lease. I'm sure that will solve everything. Way to go Brandon!

Oh, and Dr. Jha, whoever that is, is prepping now for C***d in the fall. Just in time to help the 2000 mules with their drop box work again.

What's maddening to me is how gas stations within a mile or two of major highways can get away with posting prices that are often $0.75 or more per gallon than those further away but in the same tax jurisdiction. Delivery costs certainly can't be higher.

It could be lessor brands you see - not the Exxon, the Phillips or shells. Those lessor brand don’t have their own refineries and buy from the spot market.

Wake up! BIDEN is responsible for gas price increases due to his own actions, which seem to be continuing. He truly is the Biggest I***t Democrats Ever Nominated and most of the sane ones are running from him as fast as they can. His is the absolutely the worst President ever!
