Excellent detail. I have found that using a circular polarizer will darken the sky on these types of lunar shots and improve contrast.

thanks for checking it out. Am going to have to save some more pennies, those 95 mm filter aren't cheap.

Yep. My 500mm lens it has a filter insert, so I don't need a huge filter, of course the drop in polarizer filters are not cheap either since they have an external mechanism to rotate them, but was worth it.
