It's worse than just they tracked the spread of c***d. If you read carefully they intended to use the tracking for other things. Let's just tell it like it is. They were spying on us.
For example one of the things they tracked is people who left their own state and then did not follow quarantines when they came back. Totally inappropriate use of tax dollars, and very intrusive.

This wasn't the Biden progressives. This started during the Trump administration. It is progressives, but it is long term bureaucrats that have worked in government positions for years. It's the same type of person as the FBI agents that got the false FISA warrant to spy on Carter Page and eventually Trump.

Your driving habits are being tracked in your car and available to your insurer (and potential insurers and who knows who else). It’s all part of the non-regulated new technology.

What I see in this story is another opportunity for the left to be hypocrites. I imagine the same left-operated media outlets that are trying to suggest this same data is unreliable (when Dinesh D’Sousa uses it to show illegal v**e harvesting) praising our overlords for pinpointing (worthless, even if accurate) C***d spread data.

My driving patterns are not all being tracked. One of my cars is too old to have that technology, and a second one has technology that is not nearly as complete as current tech. So, no, not all of my driving is being tracked.
With that said, even if my driving was being tracked, that's not the same as the government doing it.

Most don't get it yet. All major policy decisions are made by the Civil Servants in all Govt departments not politicians. If they don't like the laws issued by Congress they just ignore or delay them.
