Grackle Bath

All birds like a bath, but I think the Great-Tailed Grackle likes a bath best. I have several bird baths that are difficult to keep filled due to the grackles splashing out the water. They also enjoy lounging in a sprinklers as well. Perhaps they are attracted to water to cool off because of their dark color. Perhaps their great size makes their bathing more obvious where smaller birds often go unnoticed. I'm not really sure but I will keep the bird baths filled. I hope you enjoy and thanks for viewing.
